Collaborating with Immunotec, a global company dedicated to improving people's health through their products, provided an invaluable opportunity to refine my directorial skills. Our partnership aimed to create a series of videos to facilitate the onboarding process for new company consultants.
The landing page featured a total of 18 videos in three languages: English, Spanish, and French, offering comprehensive resources to customers worldwide. Producing these six videos required meticulous pre-production to ensure continuity across languages and minimize errors. Despite challenges such as untrained talent, language barriers, and time constraints, we successfully navigated these hurdles within a three-day timeframe.
Overcoming Challenges
in Multilingual Video Production
In addition to collaborating closely with the Marketing team and key stakeholders, I took on the role of directing and leading a video crew for the project. Recognizing the scale of the project, I expanded our crew to include an assistant to the director, a production assistant (PA), and a makeup artist, whose contributions proved invaluable. The AC played a pivotal role in ensuring continuity throughout the production, managing script adherence in both English and Spanish, slating each scene, and reviewing the shot list. Their efforts helped mitigate errors and maintain consistency across scenes, languages, and shooting days.
