AnM Product Launch Video
about the project
I directed, illustrated and animated a 2:30-minute explainer video for AnM (Accuracy and Motion), tailored as a marketing tool and resource for new customers in the oil industry. Collaborating with AnM presented a new challenge for me, as I hadn't previously worked within this industry.
The challenge was distilling complex information into a user-friendly format and required extensive research to familiarize myself with their product. Crafting multiple script drafts, we ensured the video remained under 3 minutes. After six iterations, we reached a final script approval. Presenting two animation styles, a minimal vector-based and a quirky look—we collectively decided on the minimal approach. My role involved ongoing communication with the company founder for style frame approvals and rough animation passes. Additionally, I led the voiceover talent casting process with feedback from the founder.
Transforming Complex Automation into
Engaging Animation
After finishing the animation project, I provided a top-notch animation suitable for web use. Despite the founder's initial unfamiliarity with animation, he was pleased with the final result. This allowed him to share a concise, engaging animation with investors and beta customers, showcasing the automation unit's features clearly. By avoiding technical terms, the animation appealed to non-industry individuals, making it an effective marketing tool.
